今年的英语演讲比赛
终于在掌声中和欢呼声中落幕啦！
Students of VKBS!
This year's English speech contest
finally ended in applause and cheers!
本次决赛分为低年级组（1-2年级）、
中高年级组（3-6年级）
和高年级组（7-9年级）。
最后以年级为单位，
评选出每个年级的冠、亚、季军。
The finals were divided into three groups:
the lower grades(1-2 grades),
the middle grades(grades 3-6),
and the higher grades(grades 7-9).
Finally,with the grade as the unit,
the champions,second and third place of each grade were selected.
终于到了展示自己演讲实力的时刻，
同学们纷纷摩拳擦掌，
期待着能站上舞台一展风采！
Finally,at the moment of demonstrating speech strength,
the students have been gearing up
and looking forward to
standing on stage and showing their talent!
其实，认真积极的同学们早在寒假期间
就开始准备。
开学不久，
我们就以班级为单位举办了第一轮的比赛。
经过第一轮激动人心的较量，
每班选出最优秀的两到三名“演说家”参加决赛！
In fact,our students began to prepare
for the speech contest
as early as the Chinese New Year break.
Soon after the new semester started,
we organized the first round of competition in class.
After the first round of exciting contests,
each class selected the best two or three"orators"to participate in the final.
同学们选择的演讲题目也是
五花八门，各具特色。
The topics chosen by the students were varied
and each had its own characteristics.
低年级的同学们朝气蓬勃。
有的同学以“为什么要洗手？”为题，
认真地给老师同学们科普了正确的洗手步骤；
Lower grades students were full of vigor.
Some students,with the topic of
“Why do we wash our hands?",
carefully taught the teachers and classmates
the correct handwashing steps.
Coco Sun showed her hand sanitizer
Joy Fan showed everyone her pocket money
也有的同学认为
“做小孩子比做大人更难”，
并且做了一番认真严肃的分析。
Some students thought that
"Being a kid is more difficult than being an adult because…"
and have done a serious analysis.
而高年级的同学们则显得锋芒毕露，
有的同学深刻地向大家解读了
“尊重，负责和安全意味着什么？”
The senior grade group was full of confidence.
Some of them profoundly interpreted
“What does it mean to be respectful,responsible and safe?”
也有的同学以“什么使英雄成为英雄”为题，
发表了自己独到的见解。
And some students expressed their own ideas on
“What makes a hero a hero”issue.
另外还有一位同学以“肃静”为题，
强调了维持课堂秩序的重要性，
听到学生这么懂事，小编要感动了……
In addition,one of them described the
importance of maintaining
order in the classroom,"Silence".
so thoughtful,we were almost moved...
选手们不仅激情澎湃，条理清晰，
更是幽默风趣，
引得台下的老师和同学们
笑声不断，掌声连连。
小剧场里气氛热烈，
万科双语的师生们
一起乐享这一次视听联欢。
The students were not only passionate
and clear,but also humorous and talktive.
So that the teachers and other students bursted into laughter and applause.
The little theater was full of joy，
and the teachers and students
of VKBS enjoyed the audio-visual party together.
